This one is from last Tuesday, finally got around to posting it. Plein air or from life, alla prima or painted all at one time, no tweaking in the studio.  LOL!

1544 Azalea Season Plein Air Alla Prima

My plein air group had a lovely treat today, we got to paint at my friend Carolyn's house.  Its west of town in an area that looks a lot like you are in Georgia instead of Florida.  Lots of oaks and long needle pines and all the azaleas.  It felt like I was on a mini vacation. 

The painting is 8 x 10 inches, oil on masonite.  $250.
