Winter in Spring Colors
This painting was done with yellow underpainting making it happy spring colors on a wintry day. It makes me think of Easter with the yellows and purples.
Thank you Lori, I'd love to sell that 11x14 painting to you. I recently attended Maggie Price's Pastel Workshop and "what was I thinkin?" I overspent my art budget on Ludwig pastels, and a wonderful Unison set of pastels from England. Price is $154. It's plein air alla prima done on multi media board. Sandra
Derek, That is kind of you. I enjoyed paintings at the Open House. It always brings comments from passer-bys. It sold to the gal in the yellow sandals (I added her red toenail polish). I think that's what closed the deal! Sandra

I like the ones you did below, that one of you painting the other artist is superb.

Awesome tree... I like the mysterious feel this one has.
Thia is a beauty. The color harmony is nice and the tree feels so natural.
