Daily Painting 970 Beautiful Day at White City Park
Its oil plein air, alla prima. I painted it at the park today, really pretty out. The big white egret was in the bottle brush tree for most of the painting. Little birds were singing in the oak tree that I was sitting under and pooping on my palette. ( I had the painting tipped a bit so it was safe.) Its 8 x 10 inches, $300.

I love the little stories that go with your paintings! Bird poop is just one of the "extras" we encounter when painting en plein air.
Too funny! Lovely painting!
