Daily Painting 1191 Pelicans at the South Jetty Plein Air Alla Prima
First plein air of 2011! I haven't painted at the South Jetty before, been there a bunch fishing though. It was nice out, cloudy and the ocean was as smooth as glass. The pelicans are waiting for the fishermen to come and clean their fish so they can get some scraps. The painting is oil, 8 x 10 inches on plywood. $200.

I'm glad you're already out there painting this early in 2011. Our weather is in the 40's and calling for rain/snow. I'll bet you're glad you live in Florida!
Thanks BJ it was in the 70's the last few days, I am very glad to be here!
