Heart of Florida Paintings

Richardson Farm
Evinston Florida
12x16 inches
oil on panel

I have been terrible about posting. I apologise. In the summer I stay in my studio, working on research and writing. I am writing a book about plein air painting this summer. This painting was one of the recent paint out paintings done in Evinston.
Love,
Linda

Looks like a hot muggy day, I like it!

David,
Thank you so much. It was about 90 degrees that day with no shade. The sweat was pouring off me. The funny part about it was that the rest of the week was freezing cold and windy. Talk about extremes in plein air painting!!

Linda

Lori,
I don't paint much on location in the summer. It's not that much fun in Florida. I am writing my first book instead. Thanks for the kind remarks.
Love,
Linda

That sounds like a wonderful idea, what is the book going to be about, how to paint plein air or something else?

The format of the book is based on my 12 month Plein Air Monthly class. It is designed for groups and individuals to study plein air painting for a year. It has the lessons, warm ups and notes from each month's class and then other painting information.
