Daily Painting 616 Pot of Flowers at Heathcote Botanical Gardens Miniature Plein Air Alla Prima
I painted this at Heathcote Botanical Gardens. Its plein air, alla prima, miniature, all painting knife. 4 x 6 inches. I don't think there are many paintings this small that are painted only with a knife. It was a lot of fun, one of those paintings that kind of paint themselves. Below is a detail so you can see all the texture. If you click on the pictures you will see them much bigger than life.
