On a Clear Day by BJ Wright

8" x 10" oil on RayMar panel, painted en plein air, alla prima, on July 1 (completed at 9:45am) - $85 including shipping - contact me for purchase -
Facing East as the sun rises across the sky isn't something I usually do while painting en plein air. But this morning the distant hills were shrouded in mist and held the most beautiful purples. The sun was showing a new grass green on the meadow, making the shadows seem even darker. Dead foliage and twigs seemed to accentuate the Summer greens.
