Above the Meadow by by BJ Wright

8" x 10" original oil (en plein air, alla prima) on canvas covered hardboard - $85 including shipping -
The trees are still showing the effects of the late hard frost here in N. Georgia. But the grasses are blooming and the clover smells sweet. There's just so much color in this meadow and in the trees beyond! There aren't the proper pigments on a palette to express Nature's beauty this Spring.

Cool one BJ! That meadow looks like the kind you can walk up, lay down in the grass and roll down!

This land is a state park and has a pre-Civil War home, spring house, blacksmith shop, corn crib, old country store and a spring/creek. A wonderful place to paint!
