I parked at the little covered bridge in Tunnel Hill. I was unloading my painting equipment just before 7 am, searching for a colorful dawn sky.
The sun suddenly spotlighted the tree on the left with all its crooked limbs and beautiful bark. Just as I finished painting and packing away, the first rain drops fell. It was truly a beautiful morning in Tunnel Hill, GA.

hi bj -- i like your brushwork and the color in this painting!
Thanks, Jenna. I had to really hurry on this one to catch the light in the trees - and before the rain started. I always learn a lot when I don't try to overwork it.
I like it too, the colors are wonderful and so is the texture, do more fast ones!
Fast was fun here. Watching the sky roll up, the clouds roll in and the sun hiding - I knew something was about to let loose. Rain started hitting the windshield as I was starting the car. Fun, fun - don't we have fun???
