Coming south from Chattanooga, TN, on I-75, take exit #345 (Ringgold/Tunnel Hill). At the end of the ramp, turn right (south) onto Hwy 41. Drive 3.9 miles --- watch the speed limits, THEY MEAN IT. Turn left onto Oak Street. Stay straight for .3 mile. Event parking is on the right.

Last year we had 11 plein air painters and this year we'd like to have many more. The event is held during the annual "Battle of Tunnel Hill" Civil War reenactment. Cool! Its a fine little painting, I want to do that someday, do a watercolor and then paint an oil from it. Maybe when I grow up, hehehe! Thanks for your comment on mine!
As well as you paint in oils you would have not problem. A quick sketch and some color thrown on, you will have plenty of info plus memory to paint an oil in the cool AC of your studio.
I like the freshness here. The deep blue sky is a great touch. I'll watch your blog for the oil version.
