I paint using straight oil (no medium) with a palette knife on black illustration board. I'll try to set up a demonstration. This is a great venue. Thanks for allowing me to post

Thanks Jeff, I usually use a palette knife too, and use the paint straight mostly it will be interesting to see how you do it differently from me.

I love these colors you've found in the liechens!

It's interesting how you zoom into a smaller area and concentrate your painting on a scene we might otherwise miss altogether.
