How far off I-75 is this area?? Looks like a really interesting place for painting.

Its only a couple miles off the highway. If you google Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield it can give you directions. The area I'm concentrating on is on the NW area of Little Kennesaw Mtn. Its very arid on the slopes which allow for different vegatation. I always see hawks and all types of animals. I guess it's my hang out.

Do they still fire the cannons at Kennesaw Mtn? I was there years ago.

they do, in fact it's weird to think if the civil war never happened the mountain would never have been protected.
