Singing the Blues Again, floral by Fawn McNeill

"Singing the Blues Again"
8 x 10 inches
Acrylic on hardboard

Went out in my yard yesterday morning and painted these plumbago plants again. I set up on the opposite side so I could include the trees, and more sunlight. The down fall was that it was much hotter for me as well.

The photo has a slight glare on the cabbage palm, after three tries I decided to go ahead and post it as is -- sorry about that.

I wasn't so sure about this one, I was so rushed, and hot! Thanks, Now that I am away from it I think it is alright. Any constructive critisism is welcome. maybe send it to my email?

The trees' barks are so good! So tactile! And I love the red flowers. The dark undergrowth makes it mysterious. Lights and darks are just right.

I agree with lon and bj. This is really nice. Don't change a thing. Know what you mean about the photos. I still haven't learned how to take good pictures of my paintings.
