Daily Painting 270 Thunderheads over the Indian River Plein Air Alla Prima

I finally got some cool enough air to go out and paint in! 85 degrees but there was a nice wind, you can see it in the palm fronds so it felt cooler. We need the rain badly but the thunderheads just sailed off to the left and totally vanished without raining a drop. Its 8 x 10 oil, all knife. Click the PayPal button below to purchase:

The clouds are interesting in this and in Fawn's painting. Both very nicely done.

Thanks BJ, I am hoping to do some more clouds, we are supposed to get rain and the clouds have been looking very interesting.

Lori, I like the windy effect you get so often. It really makes the view feel the great outdoors!

You got the feel of the coming thunderhead with the tree and values.
