Nubbin's Slough,Lake Okeechobee, Daily Painting

"Nubbin's Slough"
8 x 10 inches
Acrylic on canvas board

Went out very early this morning, before it got too hot! It was a beautiful morning: birds everywhere, bright sunshine, and a cool breeze. Can't beat that! All of the land showing is usually under water, this drought has been more severe than ever in recorded history.

Thanks guys, Cathy, don't be jealous! we pay for it -- by 9:ooam it is already 90 degrees! It is beautiful here, I just never had a chance to paint in the fall or winter yet. Can't wait. No more teaching at the public school! smile.
